Pawlów is a village on the border of the area of municipality Pietrowice, which was fi rstly mentioned already about 1300. On the beginning of the 14th century the village was in possession of member of a chapter in Ratiborz. This settlement had changed many times its owners, for example they were family Salisa. Hollý, Larich, Poser, Fragstein and Strachwitz. In the village you can fi nd a new Gothic parish Church, built in 1904 – 1916 on the place of the former wooden church. Pawlów is known for interesting organized harvest-home, which is prepared by the Parish Council in cooperation with the Village Council. The harvest-home in annually celebrated the third Sunday in September.
